Elle retourne lire sur l’ordinateur de la maison. — Eva has no phone and reads on her home computer; the new message arrives after she has left.
Why is it useful to write before Eva leaves?
Eva peut consulter l’ordinateur avant de partir. — Eva reads on her home computer and has no phone that day; writing before she leaves lets her receive the change.
Which place allows a drink near the garden?
Le café vert du message. — The green café is near the garden and open; the blue one is closed.
If Eva reads only the first sentence of the message, where might she wait for Sami?
Devant le café bleu. — The first sentence puts Sami outside the blue café, but he later says he is moving to the green one; stopping early leaves the location outdated.
What result does Sami’s announced change of location allow?
Eva peut le retrouver dans un café ouvert. — Sami leaves the closed blue café for the green one, which is open; Eva can meet him there.
Eva arrives at the blue café wearing her coat. How do these two choices fit the story?
Son vêtement convient, mais elle doit chercher Sami ailleurs. — The coat suits the cold. The blue café is closed and Sami says he is going to the green one, so Eva must change her destination. Liking the garden does not make the blue café the agreed meeting place.
