The recipe measured in cups
CEFR B1204 words

Questions
You answer them with the text in front of you. It isn't memory: it's understanding.
Why would the narrator’s large cup make the old recipe harder to reproduce?
— A larger measuring cup scales the mixture, so the specified mould and time need reconsideration. Different ingredients still require their own weights; a full large cup does not keep the small batch.
Copy the Spanish word: the recipe specified a ___.
molde — The specified baking tin is an additional condition beyond ingredient ratios.
The flour, sugar and milk were weighed separately.
True — Each ingredient needed its own measurement; the flour’s weight was not reused for the others.
Why would simply copying the oven time be inadequate for more mixture?
The time assumes a particular amount and baking tin — More mixture changes the setup specified by the recipe; the original time is only a guide.
The narrator can reproduce the measured amounts with scales without finding the original cup.
True — Each quantity was weighed separately and recorded, so the notes transfer those amounts to scales.
How are the old and new versions related?
The notes add measurements for other utensils — The old version works for people who know its utensils; the notes add transferable measurement information.
