Review

  1. Zum Gluck → Zum Glück

«Zum Glück»: Retain the Umlaut in this form; it is part of German spelling and cannot be dropped as punctuation.

  2. im Erdgeschos → im Erdgeschoss

«im Erdgeschoss»: For the short-o pronunciation used as the model, write final ss, not a single s. Erdgeschoß, with a long o, is a standard variant in southern Germany and Austria; it is not universally incorrect.

  3. die Stuhle → die Stühle

«die Stühle»: Retain the Umlaut in this form; it is part of German spelling and cannot be dropped as punctuation.

  4. besser Hören → besser hören

«besser hören»: This is a verbal infinitive without nominalisation or an article; use a lower-case initial.

  5. die nächste sitzung → die nächste Sitzung

«die nächste Sitzung»: A German noun retains its capital within a sentence; this is not merely a sentence-initial capital.

  6. erst Prüfen → erst prüfen

«erst prüfen»: This is a verbal infinitive without nominalisation or an article; use a lower-case initial.

Compare heard words separately from spelling. There is no automatic score. Alternative standard punctuation preserving relationships and meaning is acceptable; a different comma does not imply a misheard word. Then review capitals and diacritics against the model.

Retain all words, their order, articles, prepositions and endings. Do not substitute synonyms or expand contractions. The six notes illustrate revision: compare the entire text, not only those six points.

This text has no apostrophes; retain Umlaut, ß and noun capitals.
