Review

«tenía que ayudar»: A stressed í next to an unstressed a or e forms a hiatus and requires an accent, including when the general ending rule alone would not require one.

  2. una companera → una compañera

«una compañera»: Compañera contains ñ, a separate letter representing a different sound from n; it is not optional punctuation.

  3. donde estaban → dónde estaban

«dónde estaban»: This word introduces an indirect question about an unknown value. It keeps its accent even without question marks; it is not an unstressed relative.

  4. que debía hacer → qué debía hacer

«qué debía hacer»: This word introduces an indirect question about an unknown value. It keeps its accent even without question marks; it is not an unstressed relative.

  5. mi numero → mi número

«mi número»: The stress falls on the third-last syllable; Spanish esdrújula words require a written accent.

  6. me conto → me contó

«me contó»: The stress is on the last syllable; this form ends in a vowel or n, so it takes a written accent.

Compare heard words separately from spelling. There is no automatic score. Alternative standard punctuation preserving relationships and meaning is acceptable; a different comma does not imply a misheard word. Then review capitals and diacritics against the model.

Retain all words, their order, articles, prepositions and endings. Do not substitute synonyms or expand contractions. The six notes illustrate revision: compare the entire text, not only those six points.
