Review
Mi hermana me envió una receta que había aprendido de una amiga. Yo quería prepararla para la cena, pero faltaba el tiempo de cocción. Le escribí para preguntarle cuánto debía dejar la olla al fuego. Mientras esperaba su respuesta, corté las verduras y busqué una tapa. Al final me llamó y me explicó que tenía que comprobar la textura, porque no todas las verduras se ablandaban igual. La cena salió bien, aunque servimos los platos un poco más tarde de lo previsto.
- me envio → me envió
«me envió»: The stress is on the last syllable; this form ends in a vowel or n, so it takes a written accent.
- cocion → cocción
«cocción»: Cocción retains cc: the first c and the second c belong to different syllables. Its final stressed syllable also requires an accent.
- cuanto debía → cuánto debía
«cuánto debía»: This word introduces an indirect question about an unknown value. It keeps its accent even without question marks; it is not an unstressed relative.
- me esplicó → me explicó
«me explicó»: Explicar keeps the written group xpl; replacing x with s changes its spelling.
- porque no toda las verduras → porque no todas las verduras
«porque no todas las verduras»: Todas refers to the plural feminine noun verduras; keep its plural s.
- un poco mas tarde → un poco más tarde
«un poco más tarde»: Más expresses a greater amount or degree and takes an accent; unaccented mas is a conjunction meaning but.
Compare heard words separately from spelling. There is no automatic score. Alternative standard punctuation preserving relationships and meaning is acceptable; a different comma does not imply a misheard word. Then review capitals and diacritics against the model.
Retain all words, their order, articles, prepositions and endings. Do not substitute synonyms or expand contractions. The six notes illustrate revision: compare the entire text, not only those six points.
