A course with two sessions
CEFR A2144 words

Questions
You answer them with the text in front of you. It isn't memory: it's understanding.
Why does the Friday option solve the narrator’s difficulty?
It moves the required presentation away from the stated work hours — Thursday morning exhibition conflicts with the narrator’s work until noon; the offered Friday afternoon avoids that conflict. Both session requirements remain, and neither Tuesday nor the work schedule changes.
Which person can use the original exhibition session under the final plans?
Dani — Thursday morning conflicts with the narrator’s work, while Dani works Friday afternoon. Thursday remains available, so Dani uses the original session.
Which session remains in both classmates’ final timetables?
Tuesday afternoon editing — Tuesday editing does not change. Their final exhibition choices differ, but their editing session remains Tuesday afternoon.
Dani attends the exhibition that fits his work. What time of day is that session?
Morning — Dani works Friday afternoon and chooses the still-available Thursday session. The original schedule places that exhibition in the morning.
Both classmates finish Tuesday’s editing session. What do they still need to attend to meet the project requirement?
One exhibition session each — The project requires one editing and one exhibition session. Completing the common Tuesday editing leaves each person needing one exhibition, even though their chosen sessions differ.
The teacher cancels Dani’s chosen exhibition. His work stays unchanged. What stops him using the remaining exhibition?
It overlaps his existing work shift — Dani chose Thursday, so cancelling his chosen exhibition leaves the offered Friday afternoon alternative. He works Friday afternoon, which blocks it. The remaining session is not the cancelled one, does not replace editing, and has already been offered by the teacher.
