Use of English B1: spiegare un problema e chiedere una soluzione

La regola
Per risolvere un problema con un acquisto, distingui quattro parti: identifica l’ordine (order number), descrivi solo ciò che hai osservato (The box arrived wet), aggiungi una prova (I have attached a photo) e chiedi una soluzione concreta (Could you send the correct size?). Return an item significa restituire il prodotto; exchange X for Y ne chiede un altro; ask for a refund chiede il denaro. Un reclamo chiaro non attribuisce intenzioni senza prove.
L'errore tipico
Non confondere restituire il prodotto con ricevere indietro il denaro: return the item descrive un’azione; get a refund, un risultato. Per cambiare un articolo, dì exchange this coat for a smaller one, non exchange with a smaller one.
