My grandfather has a small garden outside the village. It is not a garden with flowers: it is a garden with food.
There are tomatoes, potatoes, onions and two lemon trees. My grandfather talks to the plants. He says the tomatoes are lazy this year.
On Saturdays I help him. My job is the water. His job is everything else.
In summer we eat his tomatoes with salt and olive oil. They are not perfect, but for me they are the best tomatoes in the world.
