Already è per ciò che è già successo, e va in mezzo alla frase: I have already eaten. Yet è per domande e negative, e va alla FINE: Have you eaten yet? Still è per ciò che continua uguale, e va prima del verbo: I still live here.
L'errore tipico. Mettere yet in mezzo alla frase, come se fosse already: Have you yet finished? Yet va alla fine, sempre.
Perché sfugge proprio a te. «Già», «ancora» e «non ancora» si sovrappongono, e «ancora» vale sia per still sia per yet.
